Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and empathy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain precise radio communication protocols with field units
- Input and update critical information in law enforcement databases
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Proficient in typing (40+ WPM) and computer navigation
- Strong situational judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with clear diction
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn specialized software
