Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via phone, radio, and digital systems
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS technology
- Provide critical instructions to callers during crisis situations
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and logs
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio equipment and maintain constant communication protocols
- Complete all mandatory training modules and certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Strong communication skills with clear diction and composure
- Basic computer proficiency and typing speed (40+ WPM)
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
- Valid Colorado driver's license upon hire
