Responsibilities
- Operate radio communication systems to dispatch emergency services
- Receive and process 911 calls with accuracy and empathy
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during emergency responses
- Utilize CAD systems for efficient incident tracking
- Provide critical information to field units during emergencies
- Adhere to all department protocols and privacy regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Proficient in typing (40+ WPM preferred)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
