Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency dispatches for police, fire, and EMS
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and maintain accurate incident documentation
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival instructions to callers
- Monitor radio communications and relay critical information
- Participate in continuous training to maintain certification standards
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in typing (minimum 40 WPM) and computer navigation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Strong multitasking ability under high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be a US citizen or legal resident eligible for security clearance
