Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate police/fire/EMS responses
- Enter and update critical incident data in CAD systems
- Maintain precise logs of all communications and activities
- Provide clear, concise information to first responders during emergencies
- Multi-task efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid Nevada driver's license
- Pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional listening skills
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
