Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services (police, fire, EMS)
- Monitor radio communications and maintain situational awareness
- Enter and maintain accurate incident data in databases
- Provide critical information to first responders
- Handle high-stress situations with composure and professionalism
- Complete mandatory training programs and certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type 40+ WPM (tested during application)
- Clear criminal background and drug screening
- Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- U.S. citizenship and valid Nevada driver's license
- Pass psychological and polygraph examinations
