Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy
- Operate radio equipment to coordinate emergency responses
- Enter and maintain accurate incident data in CAD systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical situations
- Coordinate with police, fire, and EMS agencies
- Manage multiple high-pressure tasks simultaneously
- Complete all required training modules within specified timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (30 WPM)
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- No felony convictions
- Valid Texas driver's license (or obtain within 30 days)
