Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and update critical information in CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate logs of all communications and activities
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement and public safety agencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and departmental protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Clear speaking voice with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
