Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch appropriate units (police, fire, EMS) with precise location details
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to officers in the field via radio
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate NCIC/FCIC databases for warrant/background checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid New Jersey driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 35 WPM typing proficiency
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional listening skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
