Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio communication equipment
- Dispatch officers using established protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance
- Complete all required training modules within timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 18 years of age or older
- Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed ≥40 WPM (verified assessment)
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Basic computer proficiency
- US citizenship or legal resident status
