Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to officers and first responders
- Operate multi-channel radio systems under pressure
- Adhere to FCC regulations and department protocols
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- U.S. citizenship and valid Florida driver's license
- Pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Fluent English/Spanish bilingual skills (highly valued)
