Responsibilities
- Answer and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Dispatch police units and coordinate with EMS/Fire departments
- Operate CAD systems and radio communication equipment
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergency situations
- Remain calm under pressure during high-stress scenarios
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to multitask in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Proficient with computer systems and data entry
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear speaking voice and excellent diction
