Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Operate radio communication systems and multi-line telephones
- Input and retrieve critical information from CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incidents
- Provide clear instructions to callers and field units during emergencies
- Coordinate resources during critical incidents and disasters
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Nevada driver's license or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (verified by test)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong multitasking and decision-making skills under pressure
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
