Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on public policy issues
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate interagency task forces and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor emerging trends in public administration and governance
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, R preferred)
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Texas legislative processes and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
