Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Research and draft policy briefs for executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives on public policy
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholders
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Tennessee
- Develop implementation strategies for new legislation
- Collaborate with legal counsel on compliance matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced research and statistical analysis skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with Tennessee state government processes preferred
