Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and propose evidence-based policy recommendations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on social service programs
- Collaborate with legislative committees and agency stakeholders
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Monitor federal/state regulatory changes and assess impacts
- Lead cross-functional projects with 5+ agency partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years government/public policy experience
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience drafting legislation or regulatory language
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement strategies
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required
