Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes on foot or by vehicle
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to postal regulations
- Operate postal vehicles safely and maintain delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
- Complete required delivery documentation and reports
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and exceptions
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and documentation
- Strong time management and reliability skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
