Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS guidelines
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at mailboxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues promptly
- Operate delivery scanners and mobile devices for tracking and confirmation
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and maintaining delivery equipment
- Provide professional customer service for inquiries and special requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
