Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and during delivery interactions
- Process incoming/outgoing mail using automated sorting equipment
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and USPS service standards
- Perform route adjustments during weather emergencies or staffing shortages
- Report maintenance issues for delivery vehicles and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient in basic route navigation and time management
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical assessment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
