Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages according to delivery routes and sequences
- Safely transport mail via USPS vehicles while adhering to traffic regulations
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service at mailboxes and collection points
- Report delivery irregularities, damaged mail, or suspicious activities
- Maintain USPS vehicles and equipment in optimal condition
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in basic navigation and route management
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
