Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain route documentation
- Collect outgoing mail from customers and post office boxes
- Provide courteous customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Operate scanning equipment for package tracking and delivery confirmation
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and weather-related delivery procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment operation
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
