Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses on assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customer premises
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences
- Provide customer service assistance at the post office counter
- Complete delivery manifests and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to all USPS security protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
