Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently following established routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions at post offices and along delivery routes
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Operate automated mail processing equipment when required
- Assist with mail sorting duties in post office facilities as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
