Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service logs
- Operate USPS vehicles safely and efficiently following all traffic regulations
- Collect and process postage payments and return mail
- Report maintenance issues with delivery vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to strict security protocols for sensitive mail handling
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and walk 5-8 miles daily
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
