Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Safely deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles following all traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service logs
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Adhere to USPS security protocols and privacy regulations
- Assist with special mail projects during peak seasons
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
