Responsibilities
- Process and sort incoming/outgoing mail with 99.8% accuracy
- Operate automated mail sorting equipment efficiently
- Assist customers at service counters with shipping and inquiries
- Maintain inventory of postal supplies and equipment
- Adhere to strict USPS security protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with delivery teams for route optimization
- Complete daily processing reports and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (Class C)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Prior mailroom experience preferred but not required
