Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication regarding special instructions
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and comply with traffic regulations
- Collect mail from collection boxes and process outgoing mail efficiently
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to USPS security protocols and protect customer privacy
- Assist with seasonal mail volume surges and special delivery events
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and walk extended distances daily
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
