Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery routes and USPS regulations
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses on foot or via vehicle
- Operate mail processing equipment including scanners and sorting machines
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining delivery schedules
- Complete daily delivery logs and report service issues or hazards
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all delivery operations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- US citizenship or permanent resident status (required for federal employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
