Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along assigned routes using USPS vehicles
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery standards and ZIP codes
- Interact professionally with customers while maintaining delivery schedules
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in all weather conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Perform auxiliary duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and U.S. citizen/permanent resident
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
