Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes using postal vehicles or walking
- Collect outgoing mail from residential and business collection points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Operate postal equipment including scanners and sorting machinery
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and USPS regulations for handling confidential materials
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report route irregularities or delivery issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (mandatory for vehicle routes)
