Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages according to delivery routes and schedules
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate urban/suburban routes
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from residential/business addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and service standards
- Support postal operations during peak seasons and emergencies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70-pound mail sacks and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
