Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages efficiently using automated systems
- Safely deliver mail to residential and business addresses on assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles responsibly and adhere to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Assist with mail processing duties at distribution centers
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
- Follow USPS safety protocols for all delivery operations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to start/end points
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
