Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages efficiently in delivery sequence
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Seattle's urban/suburban routes
- Provide courteous service to residential and commercial customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in all weather conditions
- Operate scanning technology for tracking and accountability
- Collaborate with sorting center staff for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs repeatedly and walk up to 8 hours daily
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
