Responsibilities
- Process and sort incoming/outgoing mail according to USPS protocols
- Operate mail handling equipment including scanners and sorters
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and windows
- Sell postage, stamps, and mailing supplies to customers
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory
- Assist with mail distribution and delivery preparation
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license (if delivery duties assigned)
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
