Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently following designated routes
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at mailboxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Operate postal machinery including scanners and sorting equipment
- Adhere to strict USPS regulations and safety protocols
- Provide courteous customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanning equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
