Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail to customers along established routes in all weather conditions.
- Maintain the safety of the mail vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and answer inquiries.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations, protocols, and performance standards.
- Utilize handheld devices to track deliveries and update status information.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver’s License (commercial license not required for this position).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to walk, bend, and climb stairs as required by the route.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
