Responsibilities
- Process and verify applications for government assistance programs with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage and maintain digital and physical records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of weekly payroll reports and budget allocations.
- Communicate effectively with community stakeholders, applicants, and internal department staff.
- Conduct outreach initiatives to inform the public about available government resources and program eligibility.
- Perform data entry tasks and generate reports using government database systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or public sector roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
