Responsibilities
- Process and verify eligibility for SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF benefits
- Conduct client interviews and document case information accurately
- Resolve benefit discrepancies and process recertifications
- Collaborate with community partners to promote program awareness
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client data
- Generate weekly reports on caseload metrics and program utilization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years in customer service or benefits administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Bilingual English/Spanish certification (highly valued)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass state background check and fingerprinting
- Experience with Texas state benefit systems (preferred)
