Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public health strategies for Shelby County
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets for health programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with CDC, TN Department of Health, and community stakeholders
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Oversee vaccination campaigns and disease prevention programs
- Supervise 15+ public health professionals and interns
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory reporting standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or Health Administration
- 5+ years progressive public health management experience
- PH certification or eligible for certification within 6 months
- Expertise in health program development and evaluation
- Strong quantitative analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
