Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies aligned with CDC and state guidelines
- Oversee community health initiatives targeting vulnerable populations and health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform policy decisions
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state funding requirements
- Coordinate interdepartmental collaborations for integrated health service delivery
- Lead public health emergency preparedness and response planning
- Supervise program staff and evaluate intervention effectiveness through KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive experience in public health program management
- Strong proficiency in health data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SAS, Tableau)
- Knowledge of Kansas public health regulations and grant compliance standards
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or Healthcare Management preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with policy development experience
