Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting Milwaukee's diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Manage grant funding and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and government agencies
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote preventive healthcare
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and health board presentations
- Supervise program staff and evaluate performance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Valid Wisconsin Public Health Certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with community engagement strategies
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive data handling
