Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to address health priorities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Supervise public health staff and provide professional development guidance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding applications
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin public health statutes and regulations
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
