Responsibilities
- Oversee public health program implementation and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Analyze community health data to develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Manage grant applications and fiscal oversight for health initiatives
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for emergency response planning
- Lead community outreach and health education campaigns
- Supervise administrative staff and program evaluation processes
- Prepare reports for city council and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health or government administration
- Valid Texas Public Health Administrator certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Demonstrated grant management experience with federal/state programs
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and ACA compliance requirements
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive data access
