Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Oversee compliance with federal/state health regulations and manage grant-funded initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives with community partners and stakeholders
- Lead public health emergency response planning and disaster preparedness protocols
- Manage departmental budget allocation and resource optimization for health programs

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analytics tools (e.g., SAS, Tableau)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and NC public health statutes
