Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with county goals and CDC guidelines
- Oversee health program operations including vaccination campaigns and health screenings
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response with local healthcare providers
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation efficiently
- Liaise with community organizations to address social determinants of health
- Prepare reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health informatics systems
- Experience with grant writing and compliance for public health funding
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
