Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting priority community needs
- Oversee grant management and compliance for federal/state health initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to address health equity challenges
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic health interventions
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
- Lead community outreach and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with public health regulations and accreditation standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in public health program management
- Valid Kentucky Public Health Administrator certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proven experience with grant writing and federal funding compliance
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management expertise
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health emergency response protocols
