Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with community organizations to deliver preventive health services
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on chronic disease prevention
- Conduct health assessments and prepare compliance reports for state/federal agencies
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in government/public health administration
- Valid North Carolina Public Health Certification
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and management
- Experience with community outreach program development
- Knowledge of CDC guidelines and state health regulations
