Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention
- Oversee $2M+ grant portfolios ensuring compliance and measurable outcomes
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Analyze health data to identify emerging trends and resource allocation needs
- Lead community outreach programs serving underserved populations
- Manage departmental budget and vendor contracts
- Represent the agency in intergovernmental coalitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government/public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analytics tools (SPSS, Tableau)
- Demonstrated grant writing and federal funding experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills
