Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Wichita County's diverse communities
- Oversee emergency preparedness responses and pandemic protocols
- Manage grant funding ($2M+ annual portfolio) and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead cross-departmental collaborations with healthcare providers and non-profits
- Analyze population health data to inform policy recommendations
- Supervise team of 8+ public health professionals and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in public health program management
- Kansas Public Health Administrator certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proven success securing and managing federal/state grants
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, Tableau preferred)
- Strong crisis management experience during public health emergencies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities across diverse populations
