Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease patterns and public health threats
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for City Council and Health Department leadership
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for health crises including pandemics and environmental hazards
- Manage federal grant applications and ensure compliance with CDC/HRSA regulations
- Train community health workers on data collection methodologies
- Produce quarterly public health impact reports for city stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government or non-profit health analytics
- Proficiency in SAS, R, or SPSS for statistical modeling
- Valid Maryland driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for federal contracting
- Experience with Epi-Info and ESRI GIS mapping software
- PHRP certification preferred
